Anne’s own coach training began before coaching was
even a buzzword! Her first coaching client was the CEO of NASDAQ who
handpicked her to help him (and his direct reports) design and
navigate a delicate and complex culture change within the
organization. Anne later obtained specialized training at the
National Training Lab (NTL) Institute and Center for Creative
Leadership (CCL) in group dynamics, leadership, and organizational
change.
She received her CPCC (Certified Professional
Coactive Coach) certification as well as advanced leadership
training through Coaches Training Institute. Anne trained directly
with Laura Whitworth and Karen Kimsey-House, cofounders of the
Coaches Training Institute.
Anne is frequently called on to represent the
field of coaching and to share her expertise with the coaching
community. She has been interviewed by Time Magazine, USA Today, and
the Wall Street Journal about executive coaching, and she has
presented at conferences such as the Psychotherapy Networker and the
American Psychological Association. Currently serving on the
Application Review Committee of the International Coach Federation,
she has helped to maintain a high standard of excellence for the
coaching profession.
Anne is CEO of
MentorCoach, an
ICF accredited coach training program for mental health
professionals. MentorCoach
was founded in 1997 by Ben Dean, Ph.D., Anne's long-time mentor and
friend.
Anne served as Training Director for Authentic
Happiness Coaching, an international program (co-founded by Dr.
Martin Seligman and Dr. Ben Dean) designed to teach coaches and
mental health professionals how to integrate the innovative concepts
and techniques of positive psychology into their work with clients.
Anne is a master coach and teacher who has
inspired hundreds of clients and students to transform their
personal and professional lives. She is known as a strong coach who
is not afraid to speak the “hard truth” with clients or students,
but she always does so with respect and warmth. When Anne focuses on
you, you will feel a difference and subsequently make a difference.
